J.C. Hart Co. Announces Leadership Transition

Hart Co. has announced John Hart will be stepping down as president and chief executive officer, but will remain as chairman of the board. The company has promoted Charlie Kurtz, who most recently was senior vice president of asset management, to CEO.
Hart led the company for 45 years.

Kurtz has over 20 years of experience, including initially leading the company’s finance and accounting divisions as CFO, as well as overseeing the property management division for the past three years.
The company also announced Mark Juleen was promoted from vice president of marketing to chief operating officer. Juleen has been with J.C. Hart for more than 18 years, including with the operations, technology and marketing teams.
