Brooker also held the dean position on an interim basis while the university searched for a permanent successor. In his new role, Brooker will be responsible for the direction and oversight of personnel, academic programs, instructional delivery and strategic planning for the school.
"Mark is the exact kind of leader the DeVoe School of Business needs for its future," said Brock Reiman, vice president of academic affairs for the College of Adult and Professional studies at IWU-National & Global. "Mark has demonstrated his ability to be collaborative, support faculty needs, think strategically, engage with external partners, and be attentive to the critical issues impacting DeVoe."
Brooker says he will focus on student enrollment and developing programs geared toward the needs of students. IWU says the school will continue to publish is semi-annual magazine, The DeVoe Report, under Brooker’s leadership as well.
