Talent Ladder is the university’s program offering workforce training and an opportunity for post-secondary education.
“This program fills a critical need for Hoosier manufacturers and their employees to continue to advance our industry and remain a top destination for new business investment and talent,” said IMA President and CEO Brian Burton in a news release.
Launched on Friday, training will include leadership and workplace soft skills courses as well as hundreds of courses in 26 specialty manufacturing areas. Classes are self-guided, online and completed at the discretion of the participants’ employers.
There are also programs available for cybersecurity and digital marketing.
“This partnership will provide essential talent and workforce development solutions for Indiana’s manufacturing sector,” said Andy Miller, IWU vice president for strategic enrollment and partnerships. “Employees, organizations, and the broader sector will benefit greatly from this effort to provide just-in-time training and education.”
