A new program will allow students to earn an associate’s degree at Ivy Tech Community College Marion and then transfer to Indiana Wesleyan University to finish their bachelor’s with a 15% discount.
Participating IWU bachelor programs include accounting, business administration, management, global security and strategic management, information technology, cyber security with cyber analyst and health sciences.
“This exciting partnership focuses on the post-traditional or non-traditional learner and offers them the opportunity to save both time and money as they pursue their educational goals,” said Alex Huskey, Chancellor at Ivy Tech Marion, in a news release. “Through creating a seamless transfer experience and providing communities of support and flexibility, students can work to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree needed in the labor market at an accelerated pace.”
The universities said the program will make higher education more attainable and accessible in the area.
Students who transfer will have earned 15 of the 60 needed credits for an IWU degree.
