Pratibha Varma-Nelson has been named executive director of the STEM Education Innovation and Research Institute at IUPUI. She joined IUPUI in 2008 as a professor of chemistry and most recently served as executive director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Varma-Nelson earned her B.S. in chemistry from Poona University in India, her M.S. in chemistry and her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
