Subscribe NowIndiana University Health has named Dr. Susan Moffatt-Bruce president of IU Health Methodist and University hospitals effective September 1. She is currently a professor of surgery and biomedical informatics and the chief quality, patient safety and experience officer at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In her new role, Moffatt-Bruce will guide clinical decisions, research and transformation activities at IU Health Methodist and University hospitals. She will also lead strategic facilities planning for the proposed combined campus for the adult academic health center in downtown Indianapolis.
Moffatt-Bruce earned a BS in biochemistry from McGill University and completed medical school and general surgery residency at Dalhousie University, both in Canada. She completed a Ph.D. in transplant immunology at the University of Cambridge in England and she holds an MBA from Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business.
