IU Center Lands Library of Congress Funding
IU says the Library of Congress received more than 30 proposals for the grants.

The funding will support the development of digital gaming applications for K-12 classrooms.
Three organizations, including IU, received a two-year grant. The programs will help students "explore representative government and the challenges it faces" by engaging them with knowledge about Congress and civic participation.
The center’s "Engaging Congress" project involves game-based learning activities focusing on the tenets of representative government and its modern challenges. The app will use documents, photos, posters, political cartoons, audio and video from Library of Congress’ digital collection.
