The department is hosting an Indiana pavilion at the expo, which takes place May 14-16 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.
The Sweets & Snacks Expo first came to Indianapolis in 2021, bringing in 8,000 attendees for the first major trade show following the pandemic. It was also the first time the event was held outside of Chicago since its inception.
The National Confectioners Association later announced that the event would return to Indy for two years starting in 2024, followed by one year in Las Vegas, and continue that rotation until 2032.
The ISDA said it created the Indiana pavilion to highlight Indiana companies and amplify their brand presence on the expo show floor.
“The timing of this opportunity couldn’t be better for Indiana snack and confectionary businesses,” ISDA International Trade Director Drew Sherman said in a news release. “Consumers worldwide are demanding convenient and innovative snack and confectionary products, making exhibiting at Sweets & Snacks Expo even more critical as distributors and retail chains attend this show and compete to find their next best product to fill store shelves and promote to their customers.”
Snack and confectionery manufacturers that exhibit in the Indiana pavilion will receive a 10′ x 10′ booth at the discounted National Confectioners Association member rate. The ISDA says financial resources and cost reimbursement programs are available for exhibitors.
Companies interested in more information about exhibiting in the Indiana pavilion are encouraged to contact Drew Sherman via email.
