Subscribe NowIndianapolis Power & Light Co. has announced Vincent Parisi will become the utility’s next president and chief executive officer. Parisi, who currently serves as vice president of Columbia Gas of Ohio Inc., will begin his new role in June.
Virginia-based AES Corp. (NYSE: AES), the parent of IPL, appointed Parisi its president of U.S. Utilities, which includes leading IPL as well as The Dayton Power and Light Co. in Ohio.
"We are pleased to have someone of Vince’s caliber join us at the helm of IPL and DP&L," said Lisa Krueger, AES United States strategic business unit president. "His knowledge of the Midwest utilities industry, combined with his strong focus on serving customers, will allow us to continue to provide reliable, affordable and smarter power to our customers today while preparing for the energy future."
Prior to his current position, Parisi served in executive leadership roles at Gas Natural Inc. and IGS Energy, both based in Ohio.
