Innovation Showcase awards life science, digital startups

The startups were judged on criteria, including the breakthrough level, market size and competitive advantage, team, go-to-market strategy and commercial traction.
The companies were also vetted by a venture capital firm or university-based innovation department.
“Indiana’s robust innovation ecosystem was on full display today at the Showcase,” said Kelley Rich, competition judge and University of Notre Dame IDEA Center interim vice president, in a news release. “It truly represented the ground-breaking technology and creative problem-solving taking place across Indiana in our universities, tech incubators, corporations, and communities across the state.”
The first place winners received $10,000 while second place took home $5,000.
