Subscribe NowIndyGo is launching a vendor development pilot program for small businesses to help improve their proposal writing skills. IndyGo says the three-month program allows companies to meet with members of IndyGo’s procurement team and learn how to make their business proposals stand out.
The organization says five applicants will be selected for the program.
“We’re incredibly thrilled to see so many businesses interested in providing services to IndyGo,” says Chelci Hunter, senior supplier diversity officer. “Not many small businesses have access to the resources or tools to help boost their proposal writing skills. We want this program to help businesses improve their proposals and increase their chances of doing business with us and other business entities.”
A five-member committee will review applications submitted for the program.
“The committee is eager to see businesses submit applications to further enhance their proposal writing skills,” says Kevin McDuffie, supplier diversity specialist. “The committee encompasses a wide range of expertise such as procurement, legal and communications. Being a fairly new employee alongside others who have worked with IndyGo for several years, brings a variety of unique perspectives.”
Applications are due by August 8. You can apply for the program by clicking here.
