Indianapolis-based Pac-Van Inc. is expanding its reach into the Washington D.C/Baltimore market with its recent acquisition of Maryland-based Mar-Rube Trailer Rental.

Pac-Van is a subsidiary of General Finance Corp. (Nasdaq: GFN) and specializes in mobile storage units and mobile office units.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pac-Van purchased the storage container and storage trailer assets of Mar-Rube.  This is the second acquisition of an East coast property. The company purchased Delmarva Trailer Sales and Rentals in 2018.

Pac-Van says with the acquisition of Mar-Rube’s assets, Pac-Van has added nearly 900 additional rental units and six new staff members.
