Subscribe NowA facility in Indianapolis that focuses on work release programs for offenders from the Marion County Community Corrections and the Indiana Department of Correction is set to shut down. In a notice to the state, CEC Liberty Hall said the closure will affect 50 employees.
The closure is due to the ending of a contract between CEC Liberty Hall and Marion County Community Corrections. The company said reductions will be completed by May 15, date the contract ends.
Liberty Hall opened in October 2001 and offers work release services including employment readiness, computer training, life-skills planning, GED classes and substance abuse training.
