The middle-market private equity firm has acquired domiKnow, a software company headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, though financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
domiKnow’s platform allows users to create and deliver e-learning content and training courses for workforces, partners, suppliers and customers, according to HKW.
“Large enterprises have e-learning content management needs that vastly exceed the capabilities of general off-the-shelf solutions,” HKW partner Daniel Kim said in a news release. “dominKnow provides a centralized solution to meet these challenges. We are excited about partnering with Luke Hickey and his team to support the Company’s continued growth.”
A spokesperson for HKW tells Inside INdiana Business no jobs are being affected by the acquisition at this time.
HKW said domiKnow is the 13th acquisition made through its Fund V investment fund.
