An Indianapolis-based information technology services provider has a new name. Indy IT Professionals is now techlocity Inc., a move President Tom Wagenhauser says better fits "our company’s mission and purpose."

He says the move is a response to "growing services and geographic scope. We believe the name ‘techlocity,’ a combination of technology and velocity, is a great reflection of our continued focus on elevated IT management and services."

The company was launched six years ago. Its dedicated help desk service, HelpDesk.net, will become a techlocity division.
