The company says the new office supports its goal of hiring 350 employees across its three locations by 2023.
The company says it plans to hire multiple technology-related positions at its new office, including a senior automation engineer, senior backend developer, and applications integration specialist.
“Our new location is steps away from the Arizona State University campus, and the area is rich with talent,” said co-founder Andrew Elsener. “Spot is at a pivotal growth point in our history, and this expansion into the Western U.S. will allow us to continue to build on the momentum we’ve gained this year. We’re excited to invest in the local community and have plans to hire 50 employees at this location in 2022.”
Spot says the expansion is its first office in the western United States and will provide the company with about 16,000 square feet of space. The third-party freight brokerage employs about 400 people in the U.S., including a sister company, Red Technologies.
“We’re looking for talented individuals who believe in these values to help build our team in Arizona,” said Elsener. “If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a big impact in a growth-oriented company, Spot Arizona is now hiring.”
