This year’s winner is Montez Williams, who created A.C.E. Project LLC.
The company helps to keep youth off the streets by teaching them alternative ways of making money. Williams took home the top prize of $5,000 and a package of professional services.
Indy Chamber says REDi addresses the likely connection between entrepreneurship and reducing the rate of reoffending by providing technical business training and education to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals.
The program is funded by the Small Business Administration, the city of Indianapolis, and PNC Bank.
