Indy-Based Canvas Acquired

Canvas Chief Executive Officer Aman Brar says the company’s headquarters will remain in Indianapolis, and all Canvas leaders and employees will be retained.
The acquisition comes as Jobvite announced a $200 million majority investment from private equity firm K1. The company also acquired recruitment marketing company Talemetry and employee referral and internal mobility company RolePoint.
Canvas launched in 2017. The company’s platform offers advanced text, chatbot and AI technology. In an announcement on the company’s website, Brar called the deal an "industry-changing acquisition" and said the company looks forward to "growing our employment footprint in Indy." Shortly after the launch, Brar spoke with Inside INdiana Business Reporter Mary-Rachel Redman about the company.
