Indy Arts Council Awards Second Round of Grants

Subscribe NowThe city of Indianapolis and the Indy Arts Council have awarded grants to 60 recipients totaling nearly $500,000 in the second round of the Annual Grants Program COVID-19 Relief Fund. The city says the fund helps nonprofit arts organizations pay for rent or mortgages, utilities, and personnel, among other COVID-19 related expenses.
“We are grateful for the City’s continued support of Indy’s creative comeback,” said Julie Goodman, Indy Arts Council president and chief executive officer. “100% of organizations that receive city funding through the Annual Grants Program are now re-open for in-person experiences. These relief funds will help our sector stay safe and stay open so we can reconnect residents to the arts and cultural experiences that are essential to our social and economic recovery.”
