The Indianapolis Public Library has hired Keesha Hughes as diversity, equity and inclusion officer. She most recently was communications director and anti-racism committee leader at Perry Township Schools. Hughes holds a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a master’s degree from IUPUI.
