Four former mayors and the current mayor of Indianapolis will reflect on 50 years of progress in the city. Tuesday, Richard Lugar, Bill Hudnut III, Stephen Goldsmith, Bart Peterson and Mayor Greg Ballard will gather to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee.

WISH-TV political reporter Jim Shella will moderate the event at The Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis. The five Indianapolis mayors will talk about their experiences working with GIPC. Organizers say the event is sold out.

The Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee focuses on strengthening the city through public and private partnerships and strategic community initiatives.
