Subscribe NowDr. Amy Shapiro has been named a "Women Leader in Hematology" by the American Journal of Hematology. She is the founder of Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center and a hematologist. Dr. Shapiro has spent most of her 36-year career in medicine devoted to achieving the best quality of care for her patients. In 1999, as a specialist in pediatric hematology, she co-founded the center and under her leadership it has become one of the largest federally funded hemophilia treatment centers in the United States.
