Indiana to Receive National Endowment for the Arts Funding

Subscribe NowThe National Endowment for the Arts has approved a $912,000 partnership agreement for the Indiana Arts Commission to address priorities at the state level. The funds will support arts in areas such as cultural tourism, community revitalization, and economic development.
NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson says the funding can reach communities to provide opportunities.
“The arts contribute to our individual well-being, the well-being of our communities, and to our local economies. The arts are also crucial to helping us make sense of our circumstances from different perspectives as we emerge from the pandemic and plan for a shared new normal informed by our examined experience,” said Rosario Jackson.
The partnership agreement funding will be used to regrant and for other art programming in the state. The NEA also annonced grants to Indiana communities and organizations:
