The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has hired James Sved as vice president of historic preservation and operations. Sved was formerly vice president and director of architecture at Archaeometrix, Inc. He will be responsible for preserving the museum’s 11 historic sites, as well as the daily operations and long term maintenance. Sved holds a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree from the University of Virginia.
