Sved was formerly vice president and director of architecture at Archaeometrix, Inc. He will be responsible for preserving the museum’s 11 historic sites, as well as the daily operations and long term maintenance. Sved holds a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree from the University of Virginia.
