The list ranks the top-performing schools at the lowest possible costs based on 30 key metrics in seven categories, including student selectivity, cost & financing, and career outcomes.
Three Indiana schools made the top 100. The University of Notre Dame is the state’s highest-ranked school at No. 30, followed by DePauw University at No. 94 and Purdue University – West Lafayette at No. 99.

Yale University tops the overall list, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, California Institute of Technology, and Harvard University.
