Indiana-made Egglife wraps now found in Whole Foods

Subscribe NowEgglife Foods Inc. just cracked a national distribution deal putting its Indiana-made egg white wraps on Whole Foods market shelves. CEO David Kroll calls the move “a major win” for the Chicago-based company.
The wraps are made in the White County town of Wolcott, about 90 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Customers started to find the original and everything bagel Egglife wraps for sale in July at select stores.
“Long-time Egglife fans have been asking for this, and we’re thrilled to give them what they want and expand our availability,” Kroll said in a news release.
The product serves as a health-conscious alternative to bread and tortillas and will be for sale near hummus, dips and spreads.
“We are delighted to offer our customers egglife wraps, which meet our high standards for quality ingredients, clean label products, and the fact that they are a convenient, nutritious solution for a variety of consumers,” said Lauren Glanzer, Principal Category Merchant for Whole Foods Market. “We are confident these nutritious and delicious wraps will be a hit among our shoppers.”
