Indiana Locations Among ‘Top Cardiovascular Hospitals’

Subscribe NowSeveral Indiana hospitals are being recognized by IBM Watson Health in its annual 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals study. The hospitals were scored on a set of weighted performance measures, including clinical outcomes, clinical process and cost efficiency.
The hospitals were separated into three groups. The Indiana hospitals from each group featured on the list include:
Teaching hospitals with cardiovascular residency programs:
- St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital
Teaching hospitals without cardiovascular residency programs:
- IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital – Muncie
- Memorial Hospital – South Bend
Community Hospitals
- St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana – Indianapolis
St. Vincent Heart Center has also earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which is the highest rating possible.
