Indiana Hospitals Among Top in U.S.

The annual study identifies top-performing hospitals based on performance measures including better survival rates, shorter length of stay and lower inpatient expenses.
The list, formerly known as the Truven Health Analytics 100 Top Hospitals, has been conducted every year since 1993. The other criteria used to determine the list include emergency department wait times, number of complications and infections, profit overall margins, and patient satisfaction.
The Indiana hospitals on this year’s list include:
Large Community Hospitals
- St. Vincent Evansville – Evansville, IN
Medium Community Hospitals
- Indiana University Health North Hospital – Carmel, IN
Small Community Hospitals
- Parkview Huntington Hospital – Huntington, IN
- Parkview Noble Hospital – Kendallville, IN
- St. Vincent Fishers Hospital – Fishers, IN
