The company this week announced the opening of a new facility in Salisbury, North Carolina, though financial details are not being disclosed.
A spokesperson for Classic Custom Carts said the company has invested “a significant amount of time and energy” to get the new facility up and running, including making updates and renovations to the facility.
“Adding a location has been a good experience for us,” owner Merlin Knepp said in a news release. “We have enjoyed getting to know the new community, and look forward to extending our growth in North Carolina.”
The North Carolina site, located about 40 minutes northeast of Charlotte, is the company’s only facility outside of Washington, Indiana. The company said the new location offers the same services, parts and cart sales as its Indiana facility.
Classic Custom Carts has hired four employees for the North Carolina facility, with plans to add more in the future, the spokesperson said. The company has six employees in Indiana.
In conjunction with the new location, Classic Custom Carts launched a new website designed to be a one-stop shop for customers at both locations.
