Indiana Electric Cooperatives has promoted Amanda Barth to vice president of communication. She most recently served as communication manager.

Prior to joining IEC in 2013, Barth served as associate director of public engagement at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She also served as communication and events director for the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and promotion coordinator for the Champaign Park District, both in Champaign, Illinois.

Barth is an Illinois State University graduate with a bachelor of science degree in public relations and a master of science degree in communication.
