Indiana document management company makes acquisition

The company on Thursday announced its acquisition of Maryland-based document management company Medi Micro, though financial terms are not being disclosed.
Document Mountain said in a news release that the acquisition will allow the company to enhance its service offerings and expand its reach in the Midwest and the East Cost.
“This acquisition aligns with our strategic vision of expanding our business footprint and offering comprehensive document management solutions to our clients,” founder Kevin Calhoun said in the release. “With our combined strengths, we are well-positioned to deliver even greater value and innovation to our customers, we are better together than apart.”
Document Mountain provides services such document digitization, storage, shredding, and tailored management strategies. The company has 85 employees, and plans to retain all of Medi Micro’s 20 employees through the acquisition.
Kirklin is located about 37 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
