Indiana Connectivity Program gives funding for increased broadband access

Subscribe NowThe Indiana Office of Rural and Community Affairs this week announced award winners for the latest round of the state’s Broadband Connectivity Program. OCRA is giving almost $1.5 million to expand broadband access to over 300 addresses.
This week’s award announcement marks the 11th round of funding through the Broadband Connectivity Program. In its announcement, officials say the $1.5 million will be added to over $5 million in funding from internet providers, snowballing the investment.
In total, the funding will add broadband access to 326 addresses across 34 counties. The majority of the addresses are private homes, while 16 are businesses.
