The organization showcases how companies “use their time, skills and other resources to improve the quality of life in the communities where they do business.”
The recognition is based on employee volunteering, community investment, corporate citizenship and social impact programs, and the companies are selected based on an annual survey.
Evansville-based Old National Bank and Indianapolis-based Elevance Health are the two Indiana-based companies on this year’s list, which is not a ranking.
“Old National is honored to be recognized by Points of Light as an organization that truly puts our values into action,” CEO Jim Ryan said in a news release. “This is a testament to our strong company culture and to the passion and dedication of our team members who donated more than 57,000 volunteer hours in 2023 alone.”
Other companies with a major presence in Indiana that made the list include Subaru of America, Caesars Entertainment, and Toyota North America.
