Magazine has released its “Best Workplaces 2023” list, and four Indiana companies are among the nearly 600 that made the cut. The publication said the companies on the list are “setting the new standards for what it means to have a great company culture.”
To be eligible for the list, companies must be independent, based in the U.S., have at least five permanent employees, have been in business for at least two years, and have total annual revenue of less than $1 billion.
The companies provide a survey to employees, and Inc. says the number of employees that respond to the survey, along with an audit of the organization’s benefits, are used to determine the company’s overall score and ranking.
Indiana’s four representatives on this year’s list include:
- BLASTmedia (Indianapolis)
- Boardable (Carmel)
- OneCause (Carmel)
- ShipSigma (Indianapolis)
“We founded BLASTmedia as a people-first organization and, almost 20 years later, I’m proud to say that we continue to make every decision with our people as the core focus,” CEO Mendy Werne said in a statement to IIB. “Not only do we strive to be a transparent and empathetic employer, but also a place where our people can bring their whole selves to work. We are honored to be listed among other inspiring organizations that are prioritizing a workplace culture where employees feel supported and fulfilled.”
BLASTmedia was also included in this year’s Best Places to Work in Indiana list from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. The company was ranked No. 42 in the “Small Companies” category.
