Indiana Chamber to Host Annual Workforce Summit

Subscribe NowThe Indiana Chamber of Commerce will Monday kick off a two-day event designed to help businesses address workforce challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Indiana Workforce Summit will also feature discussions on traditional issues facing businesses, including talent recruitment, development and retention.
Some of the featured topics to be discussed include the legal impact of the pandemic, social justice considerations in Indiana workplaces, talent development and optimization in a digital economy, and multi-generational challenges and opportunities.
The chamber will also unveil the results of its annual statewide workforce survey.
“As devastating as COVID-19 has been to our lives and to the economy, it does shine the spotlight on opportunities to work better and smarter outside the traditional ways,” said Jason Bearce, vice president of education and workforce development for the Indiana Chamber. “A goal of this summit is to redefine what we mean by workforce attraction and workforce development.”
