In its third iteration, the Coolest Thing Made in Indiana competition will be a knockout style single-elimination tournament — an ode to the state’s omnipresent basketball fever.
To be eligible for the competition, products must be manufactured in the state, but the company does not need to be headquartered. There is a one product per business limit. There is no fee to enter, but nominations must be submitted by Oct. 10.
After, the competition will “tip off” in late October with online fan voting deciding who comes out on top.
The champion will be announced in November and will be the subject of a feature article in Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice magazine and potentially a guest on the IN Chamber podcast. Top competitors will receive recognition on Dec. 13 at the 2023 Best IN Manufacturing Awards Luncheon.
Previous winners are Janus Motorcycles of Goshen and the roast half duck from Maple Leaf Farms of Leesburg.
