Indiana casino revenue sees year-over-year growth

Subscribe NowIndiana’s 13 casinos reported a total of $190.4 million in June, down 9.8% over the previous month but nearly $7 million higher than June 2023. The year-over-year growth can be attributed to the additional revenue from the Terre Haute Casino Resort, which opened in April.
Analysts at PlayIndiana.com report that Indiana is the only state where all of its casinos reported month-to-month revenue decreases.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Anderson saw the biggest decline with $16.5 million in adjusted gross revenue, down 20% from May.
Nine Indiana casinos posted decreases of at least 5% and four saw losses of 10% or more.
The casino revenue numbers followed the June results for Indiana’s sportsbooks, which saw a total of $298.2 million wagered last month, a 33% increase over June 2023, but a 17.5% drop from May.
