The new appointments are:
- Josefa Madrigal as chief of staff
- Larry Allen as city attorney
- Anna Killion Hanson as interim housing and neighborhood development director
- Jacqueline Scanlan as interim planning and transportation director
Madrigal currently works in her role, while Killion Hanson and Scanlan are receiving interim promotions in their departments. Allen currently serves as deputy mayor for outgoing Mayor John Hamilton.
Thomson named several other appointments earlier this month. She was elected mayor in November after running unopposed in the general election.
Hamilton is leaving office after deciding not to seek a third term.
