In her new role, she will oversee the development of Indiana’s STEM plan. Watts has experience in strategic communications and federal policy. She previously served as national security director at the White House, managing 1,400 national security appointments in the Office of Presidential Personnel.
Watts also served as a political appointee for the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she managed strategic communications and served as an advisor to the Office of Science and Technology.
Watts holds a Bachelors of Arts from Fordham University.
