Subscribe NowPersonal finance website WalletHub has released its 2023 Best College & University Rankings and three Indiana schools are among the top 100. The website says with the first “early decision” college-application deadline due on November 1, the list gives college-bound seniors more information to help decide the best school for them.
The top-ranked school in Indiana is the University of Notre Dame at number 34. Wabash College in Crawfordsville is number 84 and DePauw University in Greencastle comes in number 86.
WalletHub compared more than 900 higher-education institutions, both public and private, in the U.S. across 30 key measures.
It measured seven categories, such as student selectivity, cost & financing and career outcomes.
In addition to the overall national ranking, WalletHub also has rankings by region, and separate lists for universities and colleges.
These are the top 10 Indiana schools based on their national ranking:
- No. 34 University of Notre Dame
- No. 84 Wabash College
- No. 86 DePauw University
- No. 106 Purdue University-West Lafayette
- No. 136 Earlham College
- No. 207 Butler University
- No. 227 Hanover College
- No. 246 Indiana University-Bloomington
- No. 266 Valparaiso University
