South Bend-based Vennli and Carmel-based DemandJump are finalists for Red Herring’s Top 100 North America list.
Red Herring uses more than 20 criteria to determine the list. Some of the criteria include social contribution, venture investment, market maturity, growth rate, market size and technological advantage, among others.
"Vennli is honored to be part of this elite group of finalists," said Gary Gigot, co-founder and chief executive officer of Vennli. "The selection process was extensive, and the result is an impressive list of quickly growing companies. We look forward to presenting to the judges in June and networking with other high-growth businesses."
DemandJump was recently a double winner at the TechPoint Mira Awards, winning for New Tech Startup of the Year and Innovation of the Year. The company announced earlier this month it had secured a $1.8 million round of funding.
"The finalists’ list confirms the excellent choices made by entrepreneurs and VCs and the start-ups’ solid roots in corporate America, embracing their innovations," said Alex Vieux, CEO of Red Herring. "By all metrics, it emphasizes the United States’ entrepreneurial excellence."
The 2016 Top 100 North America list will be announced Thursday evening at an awards ceremony in California. You can view the short-list for the 2016 North America award by clicking here.
