The three-day event, which begins Friday, will include the facility’s $325,000 Dan Patch Stakes harness race. It will also feature two days of live music with the outdoor Kammy’s Krause Music Festival, proceeds for which will be donated to charity.
The celebration comes less than a month after Hoosier Park parent Centaur Holdings LLC was acquired by Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment Corp. (Nasdaq: CZR) in a $1.7 billion deal. Centaur also previously owned Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville.
