Hoosier health ranking still struggling

Forbes Advisor gave the Hoosier State a score of 67.59 out of 100. One hundred is the worst score and assessed to the least healthy state, while zero went to the healthiest state.
To identify the placement, Forbes Advisor gathered data for 21 metrics from the Kaiser Family Foundation and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The team examined three key categories: disease prevalence and mortality rate, substance abuse, and lifestyle habits and health outlook.
Indiana’s cancer incidence rate is 541.68 residents per 100.000. The percentage of adult Hoosiers with diabetes is 10.73%.
West Virginia was ranked least healthy state with a score of 100. Forbes Advisor says it has the highest prevalence of illness and death from chronic diseases. Hawaii ranks as the state with the healthiest residents.
