According to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the recipients include:
The General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly plant, which has increased its usage of landfill gas as a renewable energy source.
Hanwha Q Cells’ Maywood Solar Farm in Indianapolis, which has transformed a previously-contaminated property into a solar farm capable of generating more than 10 megawatts of power each year.
Raytheon IIS Indianapolis, which has reduced energy consumption by 13 percent and has been a "Zero Landfill" facility since 2011.
