Hoosier Energy Hires Strategic Intelligence Manager

Subscribe NowBloomington-based Hoosier Energy has added Jennifer Richardson as manager of strategic intelligence. With more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, she is a leader in public policy, analytics, planning and strategic advising. Most recently, Richardson served the Indiana Office of Energy Development as executive director and chief energy advisor to Governor Eric Holcomb. In that role, she represented the administration and state before national, regional and local stakeholder and policy making bodies to drive Indiana’s energy strategy. Richardson was also responsible for the development of comprehensive energy policies, legislative initiatives, targeted federal and state program engagement, stakeholder outreach and daily agency operations.
In previous roles, she served as a regional manager for Midcontinent Independent System Operator, a division director for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, and Director of Federal & Legislative Policy for the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. She has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, a master’s degree from Indiana University, and a Certificate for Executive Leadership & Strategy from Yale University.
