Hoosier Airports Add Nonstop Service

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowAllegiant is adding new service from two Indiana airports. The nonstops from Indianapolis International Airport and Evansville Regional Airport involve destinations in Florida.
The airline says it will add nonstop service from Indianapolis to Jacksonville, Florida beginning in June. The flights will operate twice weekly throughout the year and arrive at Jacksonville International Airport. Also in June, Allegiant will begin nonstop service between Evansville and Orlando, Florida. The two flights per week will operate throughout the year and arrive at Orlando Sanford International Airport.
The announcements are part of a nationwide service expansion for Allegiant, including 22 new routes. The airline is also adding service to three new cities. In addition to Evansville, it is growing to Sonoma, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
