Holcomb Team Announces More Appointments, Reappointments

His most recent round of appointments and reappointments include retaining Doug Carter as Indiana State Police Superintendent and naming ex-Governor Mitch Daniels’ longtime press secretary Jane Jankowski as deputy chief of staff.
Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah Taylor, Indiana State Veterinarian Bret Marsh and Indiana Civil Rights Commission Director Rick Hite will all remain in their current positions.
Carter was first appointed to his post by Governor Mike Pence in 2012. Jankowski, who currently works for Indianapolis-based Hathaway Strategies, has also held positions with Indiana University, the NCAA, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indiana Sports Corp. Taylor came to the Hoosier Lottery in 2013. Marsh has been state vet for more than 20 years and Hite was appointed to lead the Indiana Civil Rights Commission earlier this year after leaving as chief of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
