Hirons Promotes Haworth to COO

She has been at the firm for 18 years and will lead all aspects of Hirons’ operations and oversee all departments in the agency.
Haworth started as a public relations specialist and has served in various account leadership roles. She most recently led the firm’s Communications Management department as senior vice president, director of account services.
One of Haworth’s most recent accomplishments is developing and leading Hirons’ proprietary Rural Reach program, which delivers unique strategies for clients who need to communicate with rural populations around the country. The program was recognized in 2017 by the Public Relations Society of America when Haworth presented at the International Conference.
She earned PRSA’s Accreditation in Public Relations and has a master’s degree in public relations from Ball State University. Haworth received a bachelor’s in journalism from Franklin College.
