Hirons Adds Two to Team

She previously served as deputy director of legislative affairs for the Indiana House Democratic Caucus. Stowe manages client accounts and devises strategic communication plans for new and existing clients, while ensuring the public affairs team stays on target to meet client goals. She also is responsible for maintaining client relationships and building new ones through public outreach and community relations.
Stowe, from South Bend, graduated from Indiana University South Bend and later earned a Master of Public Affairs degree at IUPUI. She held numerous roles in the Indiana House Democratic Caucus and received the Legislative Achievement Award in 2016 from the National Conference of State Legislatures Leadership Staff Section, which she served as chair.
Also, Emily Gaylord has been named account manager. She previously served as press secretary for the Indiana House Republican Caucus. Gaylord, from Allen County, earned her B.A. in advertising from Ball State University. Now she leverages her extensive media relationships to design and implement earned media campaigns, which she supports with advanced digital and broadcast strategies that get clients’ messages the targeted exposure they need.
Both women are members of the Public Relations Society of America and active in their communities. Gaylord is a member of New Circle Church in the Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood. Stowe was the vice president of the Fountain Square Neighborhood Association Board and has volunteered as a court-appointed special advocate and as mentor for the Youth Justice Project’s “Reading for Life” program.
