High-End Magazine Editors Launch Real Estate Venture
Carmel-based SOPHISTICATED LIVING magazine expands into real estate.

Jeffrey Cohen, co-founder and editor-in-chief of SOPHISTICATED LIVING magazine, says he has formed a residential real estate sales team. It’ll be affiliated with RE/MAX Ability Plus real estate.
Joining Cohen is the magazine’s managing editor and real estate agent, Annie Mosbaugh Knapp.
The company says Cohen was co-founder of Encore Sotheby’s International Realty in Indianapolis and is a real estate veteran with more than 35 years of experience.
Knapp is a former television journalist in Indianapolis with experience in selling and buying properties.
“SOPHISTICATED LIVING magazine is the premiere luxury lifestyle publication in Indianapolis and has always highlighted and celebrated the finer things in life in our city and its suburbs,” said Cohen.
He said the real estate company, The Sophisticated Team at RE/MAX Ability Plus, is an extension of that.
“A way to assist our audience in acquiring their dream homes, and selling their properties,” said Cohen.
“We pride ourselves on providing concierge-level service with an emphasis on communication.”
The magazine and real estate team’s offices are located t the Indiana Design Center in Carmel’s Arts and Design District.
